The short version: be an adult, be decent to people, pay for what you use, and we will look after your data.
Who can use DoAmour
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live. One account per person, tied to your phone number.
What you are getting
Access to AI companions and to friend chat, as described in the app at the time. Companions are software; what they say is generated and is not advice of any kind. We change and improve the service, and sometimes remove features.
Your conduct
The community guidelines are part of these terms. Breaking them can end your access without refund.
Talking to real people
Some of the people you can talk to in DoAmour are not companions. They are real people, working with us, who are paid for the calls they take. The app says which is which, and a companion always tells you it is one.
They choose a name and a picture to be known by, and you see those rather than their legal identity. You appear to them as the profile you set: your name, your photo, and what you write. Do not treat a paid conversation as private between strangers — treat it as a conversation with a person who can see what you send.
Messaging them is free. A call is paid for by the minute at the price shown before it starts. They are not our employees, they are not obliged to take your call, and either side can end one at any time. What is not allowed, on either side, is in the community guidelines: no demands for sexual acts, no requests for anyone's real identity or contact details, no payment arranged outside the app, nothing involving anyone under 18.
Paying
Text chat with your own companion is free. Premium is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel: on a phone you cancel it in your app store, on the web from Profile. It opens every companion, voice notes, photos, videos and calls, and each paid month comes with credits.
Calls, photos and videos are paid from your wallet. A Private Call plan adds call minutes, photos and videos to it; a credit pack adds credits, which pay for photos, videos and plans. Plans and credit packs are one-time purchases. Nothing in your wallet expires; while Premium is off it is paused, not lost. A call is charged by the second from when it is answered, and only for the time used. A call with a real person is bought one call at a time, at the length and price shown before it starts.
On a phone, everything is paid for through its app store, which handles the money; on the web, payments go through Razorpay. We never see your card. Prices are shown before you buy. Refunds are governed by the refund policy and by the app store’s own rules.
Your content
What you write and send is yours. You give us the licence needed to store it, deliver it, and show it back to you and the people you send it to — nothing more. What DoAmour makes for you — its replies, images, voices and calls — is for your own private use: you may not publish it, post it to social media, sell it, or use it to train or build another AI. The full rules are on our personal use and content restrictions page, which is part of these terms.
What other people do with what you share
Anything you send to another person — a message, a photo, a voice note, your face on a video call — leaves your control the moment they receive it. They can screenshot it, record it, or repeat it elsewhere. We do not permit that, and we act on reports, but we cannot prevent it and we are not responsible for what someone else does with what you chose to send them.
The same is true in reverse. Content you create in DoAmour, including photos and video generated by a companion, is yours to keep and yours to be careful with. If you publish it, pass it on, or use it to impersonate, harass or deceive somebody, that is your act and your responsibility, not ours.
None of this reduces what we do owe you: we keep your data as the privacy policy describes, we act on reports of abuse, and we remove people who break these terms. Report anything through the app, or write to support@doamour.ai.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We can suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, and we say why.
Liability
DoAmour is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute goes first to us at support@doamour.ai, and we will try to settle it with you within 30 days; failing that, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, to the extent the law where you live allows.
