DoAmour’s AI companions are made for friendly conversation. This page is about where that stops.
What the companions do not do
They do not provide medical, legal or financial advice. They are not a substitute for professional care, and they are not a substitute for the people in your life. They can keep you company at 2 a.m.; they cannot look after you.
If a conversation turns toward self-harm or immediate danger, a companion will say so plainly and point you to real help rather than continue as if nothing was said.
If you need help now
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

Talking to real people
Friend chat is between two adults who chose each other: a friend reaches you only by a code you shared, and only once you accept their request. Real companions who work with us are the one exception — they may say hello first, and you can block them with one tap.
- Remove ends the connection. Either of you can connect again later.
- Block stops them reaching you and hides the chat for both of you.
- Report sends us the conversation for review and removes them.
Each is a different thing, and the app tells you which one you are doing before you do it.
Adults only
DoAmour is for people aged 18 and over. We remove accounts that appear to belong to minors. Our child safety policy sets out how we handle reports.
Reporting
Open a chat, tap the name, choose Report. Or write to support@doamour.ai with the subject “Safety”. Safety reports are read before anything else.
