DoAmour is a place to talk — to an AI companion whenever you want one, and to the real people you invite in.
What we make
Two things, in one app. AI companions: characters with their own personalities and memory, available at any hour, for the conversation you want to have right now. And friend chat: a private thread with someone you know, with typing, read receipts, presence, photos and calls — all free.
They live in the same list, and the app never blurs them. A companion wears an AI badge and is always here. A person is online, away, or not.
What we are not
DoAmour is not a dating service. Other members cannot search for you or browse you. A friend reaches you only by an invite code you chose to share, and only once you accept. The real companions who work with us may be shown a few member profiles a day so they can say hello first — you can ignore or block them, and nothing they see leaves the app.
It is not a therapist, a doctor, or a hotline. Our safety page says where the line is and what we do near it.
How we build
- You always know when it's an AI. No fake humans, no companion pretending to be a person, no message that hides who wrote it.
- Nothing is paid by surprise. Chat is free. Calls and generated photos come in small packs, and you see the price before anything is charged.
- Your conversations are yours. Hide previews, mute, delete — and message bodies are encrypted at rest.
- Adults only. You must be 18 or over.
